AND HIS father and his mother marveled at what was said about him; and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, "Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is spoken against (and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that thoughts out of many hearts may be revealed." VIGIL ROSARY - SCRIPTURAL
GLORIOUS MYSTERIES
INTRODUCTORY PRAYERS:
IN THE name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
I BELIEVE in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
OUR FATHER, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. GIVE US this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
HAIL MARY, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. HOLY MARY, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
GLORY BE to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. AS IT was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
FIRST GLORIOUS MYSTERY - THE RESURRECTION OF THE LORD
OUR FATHER, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. GIVE US this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
HAIL MARY, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. HOLY MARY, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
1. I tell you most solemnly, you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy.
2. For I shall see you again, and your hearts will be full of joy, and that joy no one shall take from you.
3. At the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with spices they had prepared.
4. And all at once the angel of the Lord, descending from heaven, came and rolled away the stone and sat on it.
5. I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here.
6. He has risen from the dead. Come and see the place where he lay.
7. And now he is going before you to Galilee; it is there you will see him.
8. And the women came out from the tomb filled with awe and great joy.
9. I am the resurrection and the life. If anyone believes in me, even though he dies, he will live.
10. And whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
GLORY BE to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. AS IT was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
O MY Jesus, forgive us our sins, and save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are in most need of thy mercy.

7. He who does not believe will be condemned.
8. And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.
9. As he said this he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.
10. And so the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven; there at the right hand of God he took his place.

1. When Pentecost day came around, they had all met in one room.
2. Suddenly they heard what sounded like a powerful wind from heaven, the noise of which filled the entire house.
3. And something appeared to them that seemed like tongues of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each one of them.
4. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak about the marvels of God.
5. Now there were devout men living in Jerusalem from every nation under heaven.
6. And Peter stood up with the eleven and addressed them in a loud voice.
7. Repent and be baptized, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
8. And they accepted what he said and were baptized. That very day about three thousand were added to their number.
9. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created; and you shall renew the face of the earth.
10. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful: and kindle in them the fire of your love.
GLORY BE to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. AS IT was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

3. Show me your face and let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet and your face is beautiful.
4. And the sanctuary of God in heaven opened. Then came flashes of lightning and peals of thunder.
5. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, adorned with the sun.
6. She was standing on the moon, with twelve stars on her head for a crown.
7. With jewels in gold, and dressed in brocades, the kings’ daughter is led in to the king.
8. May you be blessed, my daughter, by God most High, beyond all women on earth.

1. Who is this arising like the dawn, fair as the moon, resplendent as the sun?
2. Like the rainbow gleaming against brilliant clouds, like blossoms in the days of spring.
3. I am the rose of Sharon; I am the lily of the valleys.
4. My throne is in a pillar of cloud, and for eternity I shall remain.
5. Approach me, you who desire me, and take your fill of my fruits.
6. I am like a vine putting out graceful shoots, my blossoms are sweeter than honey.
7. And now, my children listen to me; listen to my instruction and learn to be wise.

CONCLUDING PRAYERS:
HAIL HOLY Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then most gracious Advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us. And after this our exile show unto us the blessed Fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. PRAY FOR US, O HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US pray: Ever present and faithful God, support us all the day long till the shades lengthen and the evening comes and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done! Then in your mercy, give us a safe lodging, a holy rest, and peace at the last! We ask this in the name of Jesus, the Lord. Amen.
BLESSED ARE those who have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them.
ETERNAL REST grant unto him/her, O Lord. AND LET perpetual light shine upon him/her. May he/she rest in peace. Amen. May his/her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
MAY THE love of God and the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ bless and console us and gently wipe every tear from our eyes.
IN THE name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
