THOUSAND YEARS

O GOD, a moment of angelic prayer excels a thousand years of human praise. Who may adore your holy name? Should ten-thousands of mortals attempt the hymn of glory, we could scarcely draw a breath! Surely the nations of the world would despair. Loosen your angels on this earth, let them sing! Convene a chorus of immortal strength, O Spirit of God! Send tongues of fire, and let the thousand thousand years of praise be done! Through the Son, in the Father, and with the Holy Spirit.  Amen.
