"FOUR LAST THINGS" (Week 32 Year A)
In the month of November, we conclude the Church liturgical year of worship with the Solemnity of Christ the King. These last weeks of the liturgical year are a suitable time for us to meditate on the cycle of human life.

HOLY REWARD (Week 32 Year B)
The Sacred Scriptures reveal God's enduring care for the poor, orphans and widows, inviting us to contemplate the stories of two remarkable widows whose notable lives were separated by many centuries--one living approximately nine centuries before Christ in the time of Isaiah the prophet (Old Testament) and the other who happens to be Jesus' first-century contemporary (New Testament).

"SEVEN" (Week 32 Year C)
Whether Old Testament or New, the writers of Sacred Scripture treated numbers with great care and skill. Numbers and symbols, enabled the sacred writers to better communicate.

"HOPES AND DREAMS" (Week 33 Year A)
The master entrusted each of his servants with a vast amount of his estate. Time passed and the master returned. He wants to know what the servants had done with his endowment.

SUM AND SUMMARY (Week 33 Year B)
If one is Christian, he believes that God alone is the origin of truth and goodness. Any other claim of origin commits one to idolatry.

"LIGHT OF FAITH" (Week 33 Year C)
Man may turn his artificial lights on and off, but he has no control over the schema of natural illumination. The sun climbs the morning sky, rejoices in the summit of the day, only to escape before the encroaching evening.

"CHRIST, THE KING!" (Week 34 Year A)
The Roman Catholic Church observes the Solemnity of Christ the King, a major celebration deserving our highest regard and our fervent participation.

"COME TO THE KING!" (Week 34 Year B)
The celebration of the Solemnity of Christ the King marks the end of the Church’s liturgical year. We are blessed by Christ who is our ransom from captivity to sin and "made us worthy to share the lot of the saints in light".

"ECCE HOMO, ECCE REX" (Week 34 Year C)
In the old walled city of Jerusalem, on the "Via Dolorosa" (Lat. way of sorrows) in the Muslim Quarter, stands "Ecce Homo", the Catholic convent of the Sisters of Sion.
